1. 1. Open central locking system using the car key. 2. Get into the car and close all doors. 3. Using the car key, switch the ignition lock briefly to position "1" and then switch off again. (Please do this switching within 5 seconds or otherwise the system is not ready for initialization. 4. 1)Insert Key in Ignition Turn to Position 1 (Don't Start the Engine) for about 5 seconds. 2)Turn Key Off and HOLD the LOCK button on Remote while pressing the UNLOCK 3 TIMES. 3)Release both lock and unlock buttons you are holding. 4)All doors should automatically unlock. And exit the door and lock with the Remote. Put Key in Car Ignition. Take Self, Do not turn on the Engine and Remove Key. Tap Alarm Button 4 Times Continuously and Keep Pressing it for 5th Time, till an alarm sound comes in. Now continue pressing Alarm Button and also press Lock Button on the Key simultaneously. It implies that Security Alarm System is activated in Car. The most common reason for a central locking to re-open on the lock button is the central locking has detected a door or the trunk isn't closed correctly. Open each door and the trunk to check there is nothing in the latch to 'trip' the unlock setting. Close the doors and trunk and retest the remote. Cars & Trucks. Out of the blue, the central locking started not working on the driver's door for lock/unlock with the remote. Unlock driver's door using remote: Doesn't work. The first and most obvious thing to check is your key fob battery. If a fresh battery fixes the problem, consider yourself lucky. If not, also check your battery's voltage to make sure it's reading 12 volts with the ignition off and 14 volts with the ignition on and the alternator running. All the other doors are working fine. they can be open, - by the touch sensor from both driver and passenger side. - by lock/unlock button in the vehicle. Only way to open the passenger door is manually pulling the door handle from the inside. Passive entry is where you touch the exterior door handle and the door unlocks. If you do not have passive entry, you can find the new door lock/latch modules for $30-$50 on ebay and you can follow that video to remove it.
